I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years experience providing therapy to individuals, couples and families in Texas. I received my masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University in 2004. I have provided individual and group therapy in the following settings: domestic  violence shelters, the criminal justice system, university counseling centers, inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment facilities, and private practice.

I am an EMDR trained therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, see www.emdria.org for more information). I am a member of the Texas Association for Addiction Professionals, the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors, and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists. My training and experiences make me uniquely qualified to provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with the influence of substances and addiction in their relationships.

I have been married to my husband since 2004 and we have two school age children. I enjoy reading, time with family and friends, and walking with our boxer mix, Abby.

I consider it a great privilege to be invited into the lives of my clients to witness healing and growth. I encourage anyone experiencing struggles to find a counselor that is a good fit for the journey.
