I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (LMFT Associate). I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders with a minor in Child and Family Studies from Abilene Christian University in 2015. Shortly thereafter, I earned my Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from ACU in 2020.
My specialties include providing professional, goal-focused therapy services for child and adolescents, couples, families, and individuals. I have acquired experience helping clients build coping skills to reduce and manage anxiety, depression, grief, communication difficulties, overcome marital conflict, adjust to major life changes or family transitions and improve upon parenting techniques. Specifically, I gained experience working with victims of crime and their families to overcome histories of trauma and abuse during my time with the Irving Family and Advocacy Center.
Life has its bumps, stops, and detours; it does not come with a roadmap. Keep in mind it is normal to seek help to work through these life events. It is my desire to help create safe and secure connections that are both long-lasting and transformative. I take a relational approach to therapy by exploring my clients strengths and family dynamics for positive change. Whether you are seeking clarity in areas of your life, your child's life, or wanting to learn new techniques to cope with difficult situations, I am here to help you reach your highest potential.
I have lived my whole life in Texas and love it. I spend my free time with family and friends. I love to cook and BBQ with my husband, stay active by spending time outdoors, camping, canoeing, watching movies and listening to true-crime podcasts.
