I am currently a graduate student at Capella University and I am eager to put my training and real life experiences to work during my internship at ICFE. I am a graduate student member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), Chi Sigma Iota, and Delta Kappa. I have been recognized and commended for my academic performance and success by making the President’s List in Fall 2018, Winter 2019 and Summer 2019. I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University-San Antonio in 2017. I worked at Clarity Child Guidance Center for 4 years before deciding to dedicate a full time schedule to completing my Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and caring for my newborn son.
I am bilingual and have a deep passion for assisting in enhancing the lives of others and empowering them to identify their strengths to overcome their personal obstacles. My previous experience working in a psychiatric office has given me a deeper understanding of how important talk therapy is for our well-being. I worked closely with psychiatrists and therapist in helping children and their families.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, swimming, baking, catching up on my tv shows, and working on art projects using my cricut machine.
