I received my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University, and a Bachelor’s in Child, Youth, and Family Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I first gained clinical experience at a community mental health agency on the outskirts of Baltimore, MD, providing therapy to children and adults, couples and families, with rich and varied cultural backgrounds. Additionally, as a military spouse, who has lived across the U.S. and overseas, I’ve had a number of valued opportunities to diversify my training, both personally and professionally experience the inside of military systems, and navigate the challenges and rewards that characterize the military life cycle.

I approach the therapy conversation utilizing tools from a number of systemic therapies, including Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, as well as Attachment, Narrative, and Solution-Focused. I am also trained to facilitate Discernment Counseling. Additionally, I see application of a trauma-informed lens as essential, am trained to provide EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), and will collaboratively partner with you in the hopeful restoration of your body's natural tendency towards health and growth.

I understand the decision to come to therapy is one of vulnerability and trust. My aim as a therapist is to respond to that decision with the utmost care, and diligently work to ensure you are honored in the therapeutic process. We will together come alongside, be compassionately attentive to, and begin to nourish all parts of your story. It would be my genuine privilege to support you in this resilient and worthwhile intention of living with connection – both to yourself and others – and true flourishing.

A few experienced “joys” in my life include my husband of 10 years, leisurely dinners with friends old & new, espresso & tiramisu, sitting on my back deck watching the display of colorful skies at sunset, or biking the Salado Creek Greenways to get outdoors and in the sunshine.
