I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in San Antonio, Texas, with a heart for helping individuals, children, and teens navigate life with clarity, resilience, and connection. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas A & M University and my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oklahoma State University. I also hold a certification in International School Counseling from Lehigh University.
I've been married to my husband for over 20 years, and we're raising three incredible kids. As a military family--now retired--we've lived across the U.S. and overseas. Those experiences shaped my understanding of transition, identity, and belonging, and they continue to inform the work I do with individuals and families today.
In my practice, I support individuals working through anxiety, stress, grief, life transitions, identity concerns, and relational challenges. I'm especially passionate about helping people feel more grounded, whole, and empowered in their everyday lives.
I also specialize in working with children and teens, helping them build emotional awareness, manage anxiety, strengthen communication, and grow in confidence. My experience as a school counselor overseas deepened my commitment to giving young people a safe, supportive space to be heard and understood.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in your unique story. I draw from evidence-based therapies--including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, and play theray--to meet you where you are and support your growth.
Outside the therapy room, you'll often find me in the kitchen, behind a camera, on a hiking trail, or gathered around the table with family and friends. I believe healing happens in relationship--with ourselves and others--and I'd be honored to walk alongside you or your child on that journey.
