I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas, dedicated to helping individuals and couples strengthen their relationships and improve connections. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of San Diego in 2004 and my Master of Science degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University in 2007.
My experience includes providing individual, family, couples, and group therapy in various settings, such as outpatient substance abuse centers, domestic violence shelters, and church counseling services. I work with clients on a variety of topics including infidelity, life transitions, co-parenting, relationship challenges, and trauma. As a Latina, I am passionate about serving the Spanish-speaking community and offer therapy services in Spanish.
My therapeutic approach integrates Solution-Focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and Emotionally Focused Individual therapy. I have also received specialized training in Discernment Counseling for Couples and New Ways for Families. I have completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and utilize Gottman Method Couples Therapy in my work with couples.
