I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) based in San Antonio, Texas. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas State University in 2017 and then attended Abilene Christian University where I earned a Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy in 2019.

The focus of my practice centers around couples, individuals (adults and adolescents), families, and young people. I work from a systemic viewpoint, which simply means that our interactions with each other have a ripple effect.  I welcome anyone struggling with trauma, communication and relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, parenting concerns, life stages and transitions, even those simply wanting to find a new perspective.

I favor evidence based models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused, Solution Focused, and play therapy.  I believe the relationship between a therapist and client should be collaborative, and a safe, warm place to define issues, set goals, and navigate solutions. Therapy is about your unique story and our time together will emphasize understanding your emotions and needs in an effort to communicate more effectively.

Therapy is a courageous endeavor.  We all have individual strengths, untapped resources within, and resilience to build upon. I strive to help my clients grow into their lasting changes and find confidence within themselves.  Healing begins with being seen, heard, and understood.  My role is not to give you answers but to empower you to ask the right questions.  Growing in the direction you wish to go is attainable, and you are worth the effort.
