I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor and Emotionally Focused Therapy Certified Therapist specializing in couple and relationship issues. I received my Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Abilene Christian University in 2004 and my PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Texas Tech University in 2008. I am a former president of the San Antonio Emotionally Focused Therapy Community (www.saeftc.com).
I am a member of the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy ( www.tamft.org) and the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (www.iceeft.com). I mainly work with couples, but I also see individual adults for many problems, including relationship issues, depression, anxiety, parenting issues, and behavioral problems.
I have been married to Kirsten since 2004 and we have two incredible kids. When I am not spending time with them, I enjoy trying to stay fit, reading, watching good movies, playing off-beat board games, going out with friends, and traveling.
