Susanna Kitayama, MS, LMFT

I received my Masters of Science in 2002 in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary, San Antonio, TX. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Houston Baptist University. I am a licensed Registered Nurse with over twelve years of experience working in the ICU as well as in hospice settings.

I have returned to doing what I love the most, helping clients in therapy. Utilizing a variety of counseling modalities including Emotionally Focused Therapy and EMDR, I work with families, couples, individuals and children.  I enjoy helping my clients work through their trauma using EMDR therapy.  I am certified through the EMDR International Association.  I consider it an honor to work with those struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship problems and trauma.

I have been happily married to my husband Scott for 21 years, and am a proud mom of three adorable children. In my free time I love playing tennis and hanging out with my family.
