I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-Associate). I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University California Berkeley in 1996, and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2002. I then worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in California, where my time was devoted to working with couples, children and individuals in therapy. After receiving my Master's degree, I also spent a year in Mozambique as a missionary working with orphans and other missionaries.
I also have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Houston Baptist University. I am a licensed Registered Nurse with over twelve years of experience working in the ICU as well as in hospice settings.
I have returned to doing what I love the most, helping clients in therapy. Utilizing a variety of counseling modalities including Emotionally Focused Therapy and EMDR, I work with families, couples, individuals and children. I consider it an honor to work with those struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship problems and trauma.
I have been happily married to my husband Scott for 16 years, and am a proud mom of three adorable children. In my free time I love playing tennis and hanging out with my family.
