My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be yourself, heard without judgment, and supported as you work toward the changes that matter most to you. I believe meaningful change begins within healthy relationships, both with ourselves and with the people around us. Whether you are working through anxiety, relationship concerns, family conflict, life transitions, or personal growth, I strive to create an environment where you feel respected, understood, and empowered.

I am currently completing my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and completing my clinical internship at ICFE. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in curiosity. I believe every individual, couple, and family has unique strengths, and I enjoy helping clients build on those strengths as they work toward meaningful and lasting change.

Before pursuing a career in therapy, I spent many years coaching clients in the health and fitness industry, helping them build confidence, resilience, and lasting change. That experience reinforced my belief that emotional well-being, physical health, and our relationships are all closely connected. Today, I bring that same commitment to supporting individuals, couples, and families as they strengthen communication, deepen connection, and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.

My path to becoming a marriage and family therapist has been shaped by many roles, including wife, mother, professional coach, athlete, and therapist-in-training. Having been married for more than 25 years and raising three daughters has given me a deep appreciation for the joys, challenges, and complexities of family life. Looking back, each of these experiences has strengthened my desire to understand people, strengthen relationships, and help others navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and connection. It is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they pursue healing, growth, and meaningful change.

My journey has taken me from growing up in a small village in Saskatchewan, Canada, to San Antonio, Texas, where I’ve called home for the past 13 years. My husband and I have been married for more than 25 years, and we have three grown daughters who definitely keep life,.. interesting, and have taught me as much about growth and relationships as any classroom ever could.

Before entering the therapy field, I spent many years coaching clients in the health and fitness industry and also compete professionally as an IFBB Figure athlete. That experience strengthened my belief that lasting change happens when people feel supported, understood, and empowered.

Like many people, I’ve experienced seasons where my marriage required us to learn healthier ways to communicate and reconnect. Experiencing the benefits of couples therapy firsthand gave me a deeper appreciation for the healing and connection that are possible within relationships, and it became one of the experiences that inspired me to pursue marriage and family therapy.

After experiencing the value of therapy in my own life, I knew I wanted to help create that same space for others. I’m excited to begin this next chapter at ICFE and continue growing as both a therapist and a person.
