My path to counseling grew from a lifelong commitment to understanding resilience and the human mind. After years of working alongside first responders and veterans, I gained a deep appreciation for the invisible battles they face—particularly the lasting effects of trauma and stress. These experiences inspired my passion for helping individuals and families navigate PTSD, relational wounds, and emotional dysregulation through a blend of empathy, structure, and evidence-based care.
I approach therapy through a systemic lens, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques with psychoanalytic insight to explore the unconscious roots of behavior while focusing on practical change. I believe that people are not defined by their past, but are capable of growth, healing, and transformation when provided with compassion and accountability.
Faith and spirituality are welcome in my sessions for those who wish to include them, as I believe healing often involves the mind, body, and spirit working together. My goal is to create a grounded, supportive environment where clients feel understood, challenged, and encouraged to rediscover their strengths.
Born and raised in Hawaii with an Asian-American background, I am now proud to call San Antonio, Texas home. Outside of therapy, I enjoy cooking, playing piano, and gaming—especially story-driven titles that explore human emotion. My interests span from Star Wars to jazz, reflecting my love for creativity and introspection.
