I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in San Antonio, Texas. I earned my Master’s of Arts Degree in Health Psychology at Texas State University in 2012. I obtained my post graduate education from the Marriage and Family Therapy PhD program at St. Mary’s University.
I have been in practice for over 10 years. I therapeutically work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing mental health and relational concerns such as communication deficiencies, depression, anxiety, premarital counseling, relational conflict, and life transitions. My passion is helping couples build a strong and lasting relationship with each other based on communication, transparency, and respect. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Model (I have completed the Level 3 Practicum Training in the Gottman Method) in my work with clients.
I was born and raised in the San Antonio area and I have put down roots here with my family as well. My husband and I have two children that we cherish greatly. When I am not attending to my motherly duties or helping clients, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exercising, being outdoors, and staying involved with my gym and church communities.
